Union lauds re-appointment of executive secretary of Katsina agency

Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Katsina State Council, has lauded the re- appointment of Dr. Shamsuddeen Yahaya as Executive Secretary (ES), of the State Primary Health Care Agency.

Malam Munnir Suleiman, Chairman of the union, stated this in a statement made available to newsmen during a dinner organized by the union members to rejoice with Dr. Yahaya over his re-appointment.

The union said that the re- engagement of the ES did not come to them as surprise in view of his dedication, honesty and track records over years in his assignments in the primary health care agency.

” Dr. Yahaya has brought a lot of innovations, transformation, changes, prestige, hope and respect for the primary health care development agency in the state.”

“Therefore, Gov. Umar Radda has put the right peg at the right hole for the re-appointing of the ES to continue with his job.”

“The union wishes to congratulate you again over this well – deserved appointment in view of your commitment and dedication to service to the state and humanity in general,” the union said.

The Chairman also used the occasion to highlight some of the major achievements recorded by the union over years.

Mannir Suleiman said that they included maintaining peace and unity among members which had taken the union to the greatest height.

According to him, the union is transparent, stressing that everybody is being carried along and nobody is claiming ignorance of the programmes and policies of the union.

The union commended Radda’s administration for bringing positive changes aimed to improve health care delivery in the state as well as the approval for the establishment of Federal University of Health Science in Funtua, Katsina State.
