Ukraine’s Defence Minister, Rustem Umerov, has dismissed several key deputies in a major ministry reshuffle. The changes come as Ukraine continues to bolster its defense capabilities in the face of the protracted conflict with Russia.
The announcement, made during a press briefing on Monday, revealed that Umerov has replaced the deputies overseeing logistics, personnel, and procurement. The reshuffle is part of a broader effort to enhance efficiency and accountability within the Ministry of Defence, which has faced scrutiny over procurement processes and resource allocation in recent months.
