President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to deliver a nationwide broadcast on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 7 a.m. The address will commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
The broadcast will be streamed live across all television and radio stations, as well as various electronic media outlets, with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) providing coverage.
Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced the details of the broadcast in a statement on September 30, 2024.
