She was born on October 31, 1991, in Lagos, Nigeria. She completed her elementary and secondary schooling in Lagos before going on to the Federal Polytechnic in Oko, Anambra State, to study computer science.

She was drawn to the arts at a young age and took an active part in school plays and extracurricular activities.

She attended Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka to pursue a degree in mass communication because she was passionate about performing and telling stories.

Career

Judy Austin began her acting career in 2013, featuring in minor roles in Nollywood films. Her big break came with the release of “Native Girl” in 2018.

Since then, she has acted in more than 50 movies, including “Lagos Landlady,” “My Sister’s Husband,” “Fearless Lions,” “Native Girl,” “Fear,” “Secret of the Witches,” “Troublesome Queen,” and “Slaves and Freeborn,” among others.

Judy Austin is married to controversial Nollywood actor, Politician and self-proclaimed Pastor, Yul Edochie, and they have a son together named Pete Ndubuisi Yul-Edochie.

She is a successful business woman who runs a skincare and cosmetics company “Judy Austin Beauty.”
