A Kenyan court has approved a 21-day detention for two suspects linked to the murder of British national Campbell Scott, whose body was found stuffed in a bag on February 22.
The 58-year-old had arrived in Kenya just days earlier to attend a conference.
Authorities report that Scott was last seen leaving his hotel with an unidentified man before taking a taxi to a residential area in Nairobi. His body was later discovered in a remote location, 110 kilometers from the capital.
A taxi driver believed to have transported Scott remains in custody and is assisting investigators. An autopsy was inconclusive, and forensic experts are now awaiting toxicology results to determine the cause of death.
The court has set the next hearing for March 24, as police continue their probe into the circumstances surrounding Scott’s death.
