Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes will be available for the club’s next three Premier League matches after the successful appeal against his recent red card.
The club announced this decision in a late Tuesday statement on its official website, confirming that the initial suspension has been lifted.
This development is a significant boost for United as they look to solidify their position in the league.
It was titled,
“Bruno Fernandes Update.”
“Bruno Fernandes will be available for Manchester United’s next three games following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal.
“The midfielder was sent off for serious foul play during the Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, 29 September.
“Fernandes was set to miss our league fixtures against Aston Villa, Brentford and West Ham but will now be available for selection following the successful appeal.”
Recall that Fernandes was shown a red card for serious foul play during the Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, 29 September against James Maddison.
Originally, he was set to miss three league fixtures for on the direct red card.
However, following a successful appeal, the midfielder is now cleared for selection in these upcoming matches.
