A devastating car bomb attack has killed 15 people, including 14 women, in northern Syria, according to first responders. The blast targeted a vehicle transporting agricultural workers on the outskirts of Manbij, east of Aleppo.
The Syria Civil Defence, also known as the White Helmets, reported that another 15 women were wounded in the explosion, with some in critical condition. The agency warned that the death toll could rise as emergency teams continue to treat the injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which adds to the ongoing violence in the region. Manbij, a strategic city in northern Syria, has seen frequent attacks amid the country’s prolonged conflict.
Authorities and humanitarian organizations are assessing the situation, and medical teams are working to provide care to the survivors. The international community has condemned the attack, calling for renewed efforts to stabilize the region and protect civilians.
