Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, popularly known as Sam Larry, has been arrested in connection with Mohbad’s disputed death.
Ben Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command, made the arrest official on Thursday night.
In a Twitter post, Hundeyin stated, “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry has been arrested and is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.”
Africangazette.net reports that Sam Larry, an associate of Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian Music, which previously signed Mohbad, came under criticism on social media after a video of him and his guys disrupting Mohbad’s video shoot with Zlatan Ibile emerged.
It was also claimed that the music promoter and his accomplices relentlessly bullied Mohbad and pushed promoters to deny him chances, making his life increasingly difficult after leaving Marlian Record
Sam Larry, arrived in Nigeria from Nairobi, Kenya at 10 p.m. Nigerian time. Nigerian Police officers immediately took him to the command center.
