Gift Worlu, the commissioner of housing, and Prince Chinedu, the commissioner of education for the state of Rivers, have submitted their resignations from Governor Sim Fubara’s administration.
AfricanGazette recalls that Commissioners including; Isaac Kamalu, Zacchaeus Adangor had earlier resigned from Fubara’s cabinet.
The developments come months after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu brokered a peace pact between Fubara and Wike amid an untamed political faceoff between the duo.
Recall that in the build-up to the Fubara and Wike crisis, most commissioners resigned thier positions but were reinstated in line with the peace pact.
