Biography

Adesua She was born as the last child among three children on February 22, 1986 in Owerri, Imo State in South Eastern Nigeria, to a Soldier father and Civil Engineer mother.

Etomi attended Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos after which she went to the Queen’s College, Lagos before relocating to the United Kingdom at the age of 13.

Etomi later had a diploma in Physical Theatre, musical theatre, and performing arts from the City College Coventry, UK in 2004.

In 2006 she was admitted to study drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton and in 2009, she  graduated with first-class honours from the discipline.

Career

Adesua began her acting career in 2014 and quickly rose to fame with her exceptional performances on both the big screen and television.

Etomi played Shiela in the fourth and fifth seasons of Shuga, a television soap opera about HIV/AIDS prevention.

Etomi also starred as Amaka Obiora, an undercover police officer, in Yemisi Wada’s crime series LasGidi Cops, which debuted in June 2016 on television.

She was also featured on Vogue’s list of 14 global superstars.

Adesua is celebrated not only for her acting prowess but also for her stunning looks and elegant style.
